University of Kent Future Students Global Scholarship 2025 (UK)

The University of Kent is pleased to offer the Future Students Global Scholarship 2025 for international students who plan to begin their postgraduate taught studies in September 2025. This scholarship provides a £2,000 tuition fee discount for eligible students as financial support during their academic journey in the UK. Open to applicants from a wide range of countries, the scholarship aims to attract talented individuals from diverse backgrounds and help them access high-quality education at one of the UK’s leading universities. With world-class facilities, a vibrant student community, and excellent career prospects, the University of Kent is an ideal destination for postgraduate study.

Available Subjects

This scholarship is applicable to all postgraduate taught programs offered at the University of Kent.

Scholarship Benefits

  • A one-time £2,000 tuition fee discount

  • Applicable to the first academic year only

  • Awarded automatically to eligible candidates

Eligible Nationalities

Students domiciled in the following countries are eligible:

  • Canada, China, Cyprus, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Italy, Jordan, Malaysia, Qatar, South Korea, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, USA, and Vietnam

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be an overseas fee-paying student

  • Start a Postgraduate Taught program in September 2025

  • Be domiciled in one of the listed countries

  • Pay the tuition fee deposit by July 31, 2025

  • Be self-funded and not enrolled in a distance learning course, PCert, PDip, or a Master’s with pre-Master’s component

Important Notes

  • Students residing in the UK for study purposes may still be eligible if normally domiciled in an eligible country.

  • US applicants using federal student loans are not required to pay the deposit but must show proof of full funding or sponsorship.

Application Process

No separate scholarship application is required.
If you meet the eligibility criteria and pay your deposit by the deadline, the University will automatically consider you for the scholarship and contact you with an offer. Visit official website

  • Pay through the Kent Online Store

  • For bank transfers, email your proof of payment to: [email protected]

Deadline

All tuition fee deposits must be paid by July 31, 2025.
No extensions will be allowed under any circumstances.

FAQs

Q1: Do I need to submit a separate application for this scholarship?
No. If you meet the eligibility criteria and pay the deposit on time, you will be automatically considered.

Q2: Can I combine this scholarship with other University of Kent scholarships?
Generally, no. However, if you are joining through a progression agreement, you may be eligible to combine awards.

Q3: I am currently in the UK for my studies. Am I eligible?
Yes, as long as your permanent domicile is one of the listed eligible countries.

Q4: Is this scholarship renewable for the second year?
No. This is a one-time tuition fee discount for the first academic year only.

Q5: How will I know if I’ve been awarded the scholarship?
The University of Kent will contact you after verifying your eligibility and deposit payment.
