As the second week of the Trump administration comes to a close, President Donald Trump has signed a series of executive orders that have wide-ranging implications for public policy in the United States. The new executive orders come as the U.S. Senate continues to hold confirmation hearings for Trump’s cabinet nominees, some of whom have been approved by the Republican-controlled chamber while others still await their fate.
The executive orders reflect the Trump administration’s domestic and foreign policy goals. They touch upon a variety of topics, including parental rights, education and ending the maiming of children suffering from gender dysphoria.
