God has given you light and discernment through the Holy Spirit so that you can know His mind. But knowing His will is not enough—you are left with a responsibility called choice.
For example, God may say, “Do not be angry today,” but when a situation arises that provokes you, the flesh begins to teach you its own lessons. It will say:
“You have a right to be angry.”
“You should act in a way that makes others fear your reaction next time.”
“Just repent later, but express yourself now.”
But to be ruled by heaven, you must make the choice to stand with God, even when the flesh fights against it.
Key Lessons from This Teaching:
Knowing God’s will is not enough—you must choose to obey.
The flesh will always offer an alternative path that leads to rebellion.
A true believer is one who is ruled from the throne of God, not by emotions.
God’s covenant with Israel at Mount Sinai was like a marriage, where He became their governing authority.
When Israel rejected God’s rule, they lost their divine covering and were sent into captivity.
Whenever we reject God’s leadership, we step into a dangerous place—without covering, without direction, and vulnerable to captivity.
