SpaceX is seeking passionate and driven students for Summer 2025 Engineering Internship/Co-op roles. As an intern, you will collaborate closely with experienced mentors and team members on impactful projects. You will also have opportunities to participate in networking and professional development events.
Internship positions are available across various engineering teams, including design, manufacturing, and operations at the following locations:
- Bastrop, TX
- Brownsville, TX
- Cape Canaveral, FL
- Hawthorne (Los Angeles), CA
- Irvine, CA
- McGregor (Waco), TX
- Redmond, WA
- Vandenberg, CA
Basic Qualifications
- Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in engineering, physics, or mathematics by the start of employment.
- 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internships, lab work, or personal/team projects qualify).
- Must meet U.S. Government export regulations:
- U.S. citizen or national
- U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder)
- Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157
- Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158
Preferred Qualifications
- GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- 6+ months of applied technical experience outside of coursework (e.g., research, internships, extracurricular projects, volunteering, personal projects).
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace.
Additional Requirements
- Full-time availability (minimum 12 consecutive weeks) starting in May or June 2025.
- Must provide own transportation for positions located in Bastrop, Brownsville, Cape Canaveral, McGregor, and Vandenberg.
Compensation and Benefits
- Engineering Intern (Freshman/Sophomore): $28.00/hour
- Engineering Intern (Junior/Senior): $30.00/hour
- Eligible for relocation stipend.
