The scholarship covers the full cost of tuition fees for the entire duration of the undergraduate program. - Books and Study Materials

Eligible Nationalities
The Lester B. Pearson International Student Scholarship 2025 is open to international students from all nationalities.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. International Student Status
Applicants must be non-Canadian citizens and require a study permit to attend school in Canada.
2. Recent High School Completion
Candidates must be in their final year of senior secondary school during the academic year 2024/2025 or have graduated no earlier than June 2024.
3. Starting at the University of Toronto in Fall 2025
This scholarship is intended for students commencing their undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto in September 2025. It is not available for those already enrolled in post-secondary education elsewhere, including students starting in January 2025.
Application Procedure for the Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship 2025
Applications Open: July 1, 2024
Follow the steps below to successfully apply for the Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship 2025 at the University of Toronto.
Step 1: Obtain School Nomination (Deadline: October 11, 2024)
- Consult Your School Counselor: Check with your school counselor to see if your school participates in the Pearson Scholarship program. If your school is not a participant, your counselor can apply for membership.
- Nomination Deadline: If your school is already participating, they must nominate you by October 11, 2024.
Step 2: Apply to the University of Toronto (Deadline: October 18, 2024)
- Application Submission: Submit your application for undergraduate admission to the University of Toronto by October 18, 2024, for studies starting in September 2025.
- Important Note: The scholarship will only consider your first choice of program if awarded.
Step 3: Complete the Scholarship Application (After Nomination and U of T Application)
- Scholarship Application Link: Once you have been nominated and have applied to U of T, you will receive a private link to the online scholarship application.
- Submission Deadline: Complete the scholarship application and submit all required documents by November 8, 2024.

Selection Process
The scholarship selection committee will emphasize the impact candidates have had on their schools and communities, as well as their potential to contribute positively to the global community. Approximately 37 students will be named Lester B. Pearson Scholars each year.
