In celebration of International Women’s Day 2025, Spurt! and the UK-Nigeria Tech Hub are hosting an investment roundtable on March 7, 2025. This event, themed “Accelerating Investment into Women-Led Businesses,” will convene leading investors, female entrepreneurs, and ecosystem enablers to drive tangible solutions for increasing capital allocation to women-led businesses.
With women entrepreneurs facing persistent funding gaps, this event will foster thought leadership, strategic networking, and investment-driven discussions to reshape the funding landscape for women in Nigeria and across Africa.
Event Highlights
The event will open with a keynote address from a distinguished leader in investment and policy, setting the stage for discussions on the women-led businesses face in accessing funding. This will be followed by curated roundtable discussions, where investors, operators and policymakers will engage in structured, solution-driven dialogues on unlocking capital for female entrepreneurs.
A significant part of this event is the launch of the Women in Investment Working Group, a coalition committed to tracking and advocating for increased funding flows to women-led enterprises. This group will play a pivotal role in shaping policy recommendations, driving accountability, and fostering an investment ecosystem that prioritises gender inclusion.
