Seedspike Technologies Limited, the parent company of FeedMe, has secured a €10,000 innovation grant after emerging as one of the top startups at the Orange Corners Nigeria Cohort 12 Incubation Programme Close-out Ceremony. The event took place at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Victoria Island, Lagos.

The Orange Corners Nigeria programme, an initiative of the Kingdom of the Netherlands implemented by FATE Foundation, supports early-stage entrepreneurs with training, mentorship, and funding to help them grow sustainable ventures that contribute to economic and social development.

Seedspike’s product, FeedMe, launched less than a year ago, is a technology-driven platform that connects farmers and food vendors directly with consumers and businesses. The platform focuses on improving the distribution of fresh food across Nigeria by ensuring fair pricing, freshness, and transparency in the food value chain.

Reflecting on the milestone, Ola Oluwatosin Oyetade, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Seedspike Technologies, said the achievement represents an important step in the company’s journey.

“Getting into the Orange Corners programme just three months after launching FeedMe was a perfect intersection of timing and purpose. The six-month incubation challenged us deeply, from intensive workshops, case studies, and fieldwork to countless pitches, but it sharpened our vision and strengthened our team. Winning this grant is a testament to what’s possible when mission meets persistence.”

In the ten months since its launch, FeedMe has grown its operations significantly. The company now works with hundreds of farmers and vendors, expanding from an initial small network to serve multiple households, businesses, and aggregators. Seedspike recently entered into a partnership with Glovo, the global on-demand delivery platform, to enhance the distribution of fresh food to customers across its service areas.

Speaking on the company’s direction, Abiodun Alabi, Chief Partnerships Officer at Seedspike, said that as FeedMe scales, its focus remains on improving access to healthy food while supporting smallholder farmers and vendors.

The Close-out Ceremony brought together representatives from the public and private sectors. Guests included His Excellency Michel Deelen, Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Lagos; Dr. Segun Ogunsanya, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority and Airtel Africa Foundation; Adenike Adeyemi, Executive Director of FATE Foundation; Ikechi Onyeneke, Head of Enterprise Business Development at Stanbic IBTC; and Sonia Odije-Fajusigbe, Economic Policy Advisor (Entrepreneurship, Youth Employment, and Health) at the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Lagos.

Aisha Agbomheikhe, Operations Lead at Seedspike Technologies, described the recognition as a motivating moment for the team.
“Emerging among the Top Finalists at the prestigious Orange Corners Incubation Programme is a huge encouragement for our team. It validates the hard work, innovation, and vision driving Seedspike to make fresh food more accessible while supporting farmers and improving supply chain transparency across Nigeria.”

With the support of Orange Corners, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and FATE Foundation, Seedspike plans to strengthen its operations, expand its technology infrastructure, and deepen its market reach.

Jolaebi Omotoso, Co-founder of Seedspike Technologies, noted that the recognition represents more than just a company success.
“This recognition isn’t just a win for FeedMe. It’s a win for the many farmers and families who deserve a more efficient, fair, and connected food system.”
