THE OPPORTUNITY:
As a security personnel at Olode Security, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel and assets. You will be responsible for maintaining a visible presence, deterring unauthorised activity, and responding effectively to security-related incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting regular patrols of the premises, both internally and externally
- Monitoring surveillance equipment and access control systems.
- Controlling access to the facility and verifying credentials
- Responding to alarms and investigating disturbances.
- Enforcing company security policies and procedures.
- Preparing detailed incident reports
- Providing assistance and information to employees and visitors
- Maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Responding to emergencies and following established protocols
- Collaborating with other security team members and relevant departments.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven experience as a security personnel or in a related field is highly desirable.
- Excellent observation and surveillance skills
- A strong sense of responsibility and integrity
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of security procedures and protocols
- Ability to write clear and concise reports.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent
