The four legs of God’s banqueting table start with the Word of God. Nothing in our life is maintained or sustained without it. Salvation and water baptism are the second and third legs. We must live a life of obedience to Christ. The final leg is the power of the Holy Spirit. Everything is done by His power in our lives. Are you praying and it feels like your prayers are bouncing off the ceiling? Ask yourself, “What’s wrong? Why is God unable to hear me?” There is either unconfessed sin in your life or you’re not approaching Him in the correct way. We are to enter His gates with thanksgiving. Maybe you’re living outside of His will. It’s time to get right with the Lord.
