National University of Singapore (NUS) Asia Research Institute Research Fellowships 2026

The Asia Research Institute (ARI) at the National University of Singapore (NUS) invites applications for the Research Fellowships FY2026/27. These prestigious fellowships provide scholars in the humanities and social sciences with an exceptional opportunity to pursue advanced research on Asia. Fellowship Benefits

Successful applicants will receive:

  • Monthly remuneration: S$6,250 (includes housing and living allowance)

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

  • Hold a PhD in humanities or social sciences from a recognized institution

  • Have a minimum of 2 years of postdoctoral research experience

  • Demonstrate a strong publication record and international scholarly visibility

  • Submit a clear research and publication plan extending beyond doctoral work

  • Indicate a maximum of two relevant ARI research clusters in the application
