In a bid to reinforce its collective commitment to driving Nigeria’s digital transformation, the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) Monday, March 17, 2025, hosted its First Quarter (Q1) General Staff Meeting at the agency’s Corporate Headquarters, in Abuja, FCT.

NITDA noted the Q1 General Staff Meeting coincided with 2025 International Women’s Day (IWD) as it offered “a perfect opportunity for the agency to recognise and celebrate some exceptional female staff for their outstanding contributions to NITDA’s success.”

ConsumerConnect reports the Information Technology (IT) sector regulatory agency, in a post via its verified social media account, also disclosed Malam Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, CCIE, Director-General of NITDA, while addressing participants in the meeting, expressed deep appreciation for the dedication and hard work of all staff in fulfilling the mandate of the Information Technology (IT) sector regulatory agency in Nigeria.

Inuwa further encouraged all staff to continue to demonstrate professionalism, innovation, and unwavering commitment in their roles, ensuring that NITDA remains at the forefront of fostering a digitally inclusive Nigeria.

The Director-General said: “As the IT regulator in the country, we remain focused on delivering impactful results, shaping the future of technology, and aligning with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.”
