Applications are now open for the King’s College London Undergraduate Research Fellowships 2025 (KURF)! This prestigious program offers King’s undergraduates the opportunity to participate in paid research roles, working closely with top researchers on impactful academic projects.

Whether you’re just starting your undergraduate journey or preparing to graduate, this is your chance to gain hands-on research experience, enhance your academic profile, and explore potential career paths.

What is KURF?

The King’s Undergraduate Research Fellowships (KURF) program provides students with the opportunity to take part in real research projects across a variety of disciplines. Fellows work directly with academic mentors, developing valuable research, communication, and collaboration skills.

Key Details:

  • Fellowship Duration: Flexible (options listed below)

  • Fellowship Award:

    • £1,500 for 150-hour roles (full or part-time)

    • £750 for 75-hour roles (job-share)

  • Eligibility: All King’s undergraduate students are welcome to apply, including international and first-year students

You’ll work alongside experienced academic supervisors, and in some cases, you may contribute to published research.

Who Can Apply?

The program is open to all undergraduate students at King’s College London, including:

  • First-year students

  • Final-year students

  • International students

KURF supports diversity and inclusion, with around 70% of selected fellows coming from underrepresented or widening participation backgrounds.

Flexible Participation Formats

KURF offers various formats to suit different schedules:

  • 150 hours over 4 weeks – £1,500

  • 150 hours over 4–8 weeks – £1,500

  • 75 hours (part-time/job-share) – £750

Application Deadline: April 22, 2025, at 23:59 (UK time)
