Joy is not a fleeting emotion—it is a choice that comes from knowing Christ. Jesus said, “Therefore you now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you” (John 16:22 NKJV). Moses, Job, and Elijah all faced discouragement, but the same God who carried them through offers you joy that conquers sorrow. Even in the darkest valleys, His presence brings restoration, hope, and strength.
Choosing joy is a daily decision. It means rejecting self-pity, laying your burdens at the feet of the Lord, and trusting Him to take total control. Jesus declared, “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full” (John 15:11 NKJV). No matter what storm you face, joy is not stolen—it is surrendered. Today, choose to walk in the fullness of joy that only God can provide.
