IS GOD THE AUTHOR OF CONFUSION?(ASKTHEWINLOS)

I have observed that a lot of people say so many things in the name of God, and they all quote the Bible to justify their claims. Some say God said they shouldn’t wear trousers… Some others said God doesn’t mind. Some say makeup and jewelry will take people to hell, some others say it is not true…I’m confused. IS GOD THE AUTHOR OF CONFUSION?
