The development and construction of the largest Christian monument ever made is underway in the United Kingdom.
The monument, titled The Eternal Wall of Answered Prayer, will be located 90 miles north of London, England, stationed at Coleshill, Birmingham.
The wall will be designed as an infinity loop and consist of one million white digital bricks.
The designers of this ‘wall’ have envisioned the monument to be an “ongoing testimony to God’s faithfulness.” Each of the white bricks will contain someone’s answered prayer from around the world, and they will allow onlookers to read them to be inspired.
“The power of just one person’s story can impact countless lives for the better,” says Eternal Wall founder and creator Richard Gamble, “Think about what a million can do. We are all important to Jesus, and all have a story to tell — the piece of us that moves others and points them to Him.”
The wall will have stories of everyday Christians, as well as past answered prayers by influential people such as Winston Churchill, the late Queen Elizabeth II, evangelist George Müller, and the soldiers of Dunkirk.
“You might not be famous, feel influential or have a story you deem exciting, but that doesn’t make you any less valuable to God than another. Your story in Christ matters and is meant to be shared with others. Join us and make history; if it impacts just one soul (from halfway across the world) for eternity, it’s worth it.”
Anyone can share their answered prayer to potentially be made into one of the digital bricks by visiting their website. To date, the organizers have about 42,000 shared testimonies.
“What’s also different – and more important — is that the Eternal Wall will tell onlookers about Jesus, about His character and who He is. God’s Word reminds us that we triumph by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. This monument will be an ongoing testimony.”
There is no word as to when the construction will be done, or even begin. However, wind tunnel tests will start next month in February.
