The Institute of Science Tokyo (previously Tokyo Institute of Technology) is currently inviting applications for the 2025 Scholarship for Excellent International Undergraduates. This merit-based scholarship provides financial assistance to outstanding international students by paying their full or half tuition fees.

Eligible Nationalities
The scholarship can be availed by international students from any nationality, except Japanese nationals.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the 2025 Scholarship for Excellent International Undergraduates, applicants should fulfill the following requirements:
- Should be undergraduate students who joined after April 2020.
- Should be privately funded, non-Japanese international students. Government-sponsored students are excluded.
- Should not have surpassed the normal length of their undergraduate program.
Academic Performance Requirements:
- New Students (Academic Year 2025): Selection based on performance in the entrance examination.
- Current Students (Enrolled from AY 2020 to AY 2024): Assessed according to academic achievement in the 2024 school year.
- Students are required to have a GPA of 3.0 or better during the Spring Semester in order to keep the scholarship.
