Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must:

Be senior-level researchers (preferably at R4 level)

Hold a PhD awarded at least six years before the application date

Be actively affiliated with a university or research institution outside Germany

Have a strong international publication record in the humanities or social sciences

Secure a UA Ruhr “tandem partner” before submitting their application
Note: A confirmed tandem partner is required to ensure productive academic collaboration during the fellowship.
