IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society (ITSS) is pleased to announce the 2025 Fellowship Program, dedicated to the development of Women in Engineering (WiE), Young Professionals (YP), and Leadership in the field of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS).
This prestigious fellowship provides full financial support, including travel expenses, accommodation, and event registration fees, to chosen participants who are attending the Annual ITS WiE/YP Workshop & Research Forum in Paris, France, from June 26 to June 28, 2025.

About the IEEE ITSS Fellowship Program
IEEE ITSS Fellowship Program 2025 aims to enhance innovation, global exposure, and visibility within the ITS community. Through the program, participants will get a chance to interact with industry leaders, tour world-class research labs, and participate in technical tours.
Through the participation in the workshop in Paris, the fellows will gain a clearer understanding of the state-of-the-art Intelligent Transportation Systems and enhance their knowledge and network of experts.
Fellowship Streams
The 2025 Fellowship Program has three streams that address different types of contributions:
1. Social Media Ambassadors
For individuals who are familiar with online outreach, this stream increases ITSS’s visibility through social media campaigns, podcasts, and video promotions.
- Key Responsibilities: Enhance community interaction, select event highlights, and support ITSS’s online presence.
- Committee Involvement: Outreach Activities Committee.
2. First-Time Attendees
Targeted at emerging talents, this track is available for newcomers, women, and minorities to participate in the ITS Forum.
- Key Responsibilities: Participate in discussions, interact with the experts, and contribute new perspectives.
- Committee Participation: DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging) Committee.
3. Outstanding Contributors
Granted to individuals who have made exceptional contributions to ITS through research, industry activities, or academic studies.
- Major Work: Facilitate ITS research, add to industrial advancements, and design educational material.
- Membership in Committee: Technical, Education, Publication, Membership, or Standards Committee.
Degree Level
France IEEE-ITSS Fellowship Program 2025 provides fellowship-level degrees in French institutions of higher education.
