Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the 2025 Chinese Government Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Nationality: Must be a non-Chinese citizen from a Belt and Road country.
- Educational Background:
- Master’s Applicants: Hold a Bachelor’s degree and be under 35 years old.
- PhD Applicants: Hold a Master’s degree and be under 40 years old.
- Language Requirements:
- IELTS: 6.0+ / TOEFL iBT: 80+
- OR proof of English-taught degree or prior study in an English-speaking country.
- Academic Requirements: Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 (80/100).
- No Other Scholarships: Cannot be receiving other scholarships concurrently.
