The permanent secretary of the Federal Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology, Esuabana Nko-Asanye has announced that the ministry is prepared to partner with Zinox Technology Limited to enhance homegrown technology and promote the country’s economic development.
Esuabana, who was represented by the director of the human resource department, Mallam Hassan Ibrahim made this statement during a courtesy visit from a delegation of Zinox Technologies Limited, led by its managing director, Mrs. Kelechi Eze-Okunta, in Abuja.
She emphasised that no country has ever achieved greatness without fully deploying technology across all sectors to transform its economy. The permanent secretary acknowledged Zinox as an indigenous technology company that has developed numerous technological appliances, including solar panels, computers, and inverters, which can support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), stimulate economic growth, create jobs and significantly reduce poverty in the country.
She urged Zinox to participate in the upcoming 2025 Scientific Expo to showcase its products for public exposure and education.
Earlier, the managing director of Zinox Technologies Limited, Mrs. Nkechi Eze-Okunta stated that the purpose of their visit was to explore partnerships with the Ministry in the areas of renewable energy and to design solutions that address current needs with their newest products.
In a statement from the ministry’s head of press and public relations, Mrs. Pauline Sule, Eze-Okunta added that their offerings include household equipment such as batteries, iPower solution inverters and solar panels, aimed at bridging economic gaps.
