Eligibility Criteria

1. Applicant Qualifications

  • Must hold a PhD or have a thesis accepted for defense before June 1, 2025.
  • The PhD must have been awarded within six years before the application deadline.
  • High-level proficiency in English is required.
  • Must secure an agreement with a Danish host institution.

2. Research Project Requirements

  • Must have a strong data science component, focusing on theoretical research, method development, or innovative applications.
  • Should align with the Novo Nordisk Foundation’s research scope.
  • Emphasizes novelty, impact, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

3. Host Institution Requirements

  • The research must be conducted at a Danish university or research center.
  • The host institution must provide a letter of support.
  • Applicants who have held a postdoc position at the same Danish university for more than two years may be ineligible due to the Danish Postdoc 4-Year Rule.

  • Abstract: Max 2,500 characters
  • Project Description: Max 8,000 characters covering:

  • Data Availability Statement (Optional)

2. Research Environment & Collaboration

3. Applicant Qualifications

  • Curriculum Vitae (CV): Max 6,000 characters
  • Publication List: Peer-reviewed papers, conference presentations, etc.
