Curbing Unemployment: Stakeholders Advocate primacy of Nigeria’s Technology system

Worried by the growing unemployment in the Country, stakeholders in Kogi State say priority must be given to the development of technology to enhance productivity and reduce crimes among Youths in the Country.

They made the submission during a community impact summit organized in Lokoja by the Federal Ministry of Communication, Innovation and digital economy.

The Federal Government through the Ministry of Communication, Innovation and Digital Economy introduced the three million technical talent Programme to enable unemployed Youths to have the requisite skills both at the Local and global technology market space.

Participants advocated more enlightenment on digital campaign against cyber crimes to enhance the growth of every sector of the economy.

The 5th Industrial revolution requires that everyone is proficient in at least one technological skill for them to remain relevant in their work place.
