In a bold move to catalyse Nigeria’s emergence as Africa’s semiconductor and AIpowerhouse, ChipMango, a leading semiconductor design and e-learning company, has formalised strategic partnerships with the National Information
Technology Development Agency (NITDA). These partnerships will drive the launch of semiconductor design and AI training centres across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones, offering certifications, hands-on microchip design skills, and Edge AI-focused R&D, empowering a new generation of indigenous innovators.
The collaboration directly supports the Renewed Hope Agenda and the Local Content First Policy of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu by creating high-paying tech jobs, fostering indigenous culture in high-tech development, and enabling Nigeria’s role as Africa’s AI backbone.

- R&D collaboration on Edge AI devices, IoT systems, and Small Language Models for African contexts
- A connected pipeline of tech talent for Nigeria’s growing digital economy
