Christian Eriksen was not among the chosen players when Danish national team coach Brian Riemer on Monday afternoon announced the squad for the upcoming World Cup matches against Scotland and Greece
Brian Riemer on Monday presented his squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Scotland and Greece which did not include the 33-year-old Eriksen who is still without a club.
Instead Victor Jensen will get the chance to get his debut for the Danish senior national team.
The 25-year-old attacking midfielder has had a fantastic start to the season in Utrecht with eight goals in eight matches – three in the Eredivisie and five in the Europa League qualifiers.
Gustav Isaksen is unavailable after being plagued by illness.
Denmark will pay host to Scotland on Friday, 5 September, before they will play Greece away three days later.
