Airtel Nigeria has been inducted into the National Education Technology (EdTech) Strategy Technical Working Group (TWG), inaugurated by the Federal Ministry of Education as part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda for Education.
The EdTech Strategy aims to establish a coordinated framework for integrating technology across Nigeria’s education system. It will promote inclusivity, multi-stakeholder collaboration, and long-term sustainability while providing a 3–5 year roadmap to accelerate the nationwide adoption of digital learning tools.
For Airtel, the initiative reinforces its mission to drive digital inclusion and expand access to quality education. The company has already connected over 1,260 schools and 800,000 learners through its UNICEF Reimagine Education partnership, and is contributing to the Renewed Hope Digital Skills Bridge to prepare young Nigerians for future opportunities.
