Nigeria’s credibility in the global technology arena received a major boost as Task Systems Limited, one of the country’s oldest and most respected ICT firms, clinched the prestigious Microsoft Partner of the Year Award at a ceremony in San Francisco, USA.
The recognition places Nigeria firmly on the global map of innovation, distinguishing Task Systems from over 4,000 entries submitted by top technology companies across 100 countries.
Task Systems, founded 38 years ago and part of the Zinox Group chaired by tech pioneer Leo Stan Ekeh, has long been regarded as a silent engine powering Nigeria’s corporate digital backbone. From building early enterprise IT architectures to deploying over 257 ICT professionals to top firms like Shell, Chevron and Total in the late 90s, the company has consistently shaped Nigeria’s digital evolution.

The company’s renewed ascendancy is tied closely to the leadership of its forward-looking CEO, Mrs. Gozy Ijogun. Appointed in April 2023, Ijogun has infused new energy into the organisation, strengthening global partnerships, expanding service lines and positioning Task Systems as a continental player in advanced digital transformation. A seasoned scholar with degrees from University College London and the London School of Economics, she is widely credited for redefining mobile device distribution in Nigeria during her tenure at TD-Mobile.

These standards have now become key pillars supporting its recognition by Microsoft.
