2025 Best in Class EPA Third Place CDI
 EPA

Christian Daily International (CDI) has been recognized by the Evangelical Press Association (EPA) for the second consecutive year, winning third place in the Best in Class awards for 2025.

The Best in Class competition evaluates the overall design and editorial content of each publication. “Entries are judged by two judges in each level/category with scores averaged to determine the winners,” the EPA explains on its website.

One of the judges commended CDI as “a great place to get a broad sense of what’s happening in the worldwide church,” highlighting its distinctive global perspective and editorial focus.

The award follows CDI’s second-place finish in 2024, marking another milestone for the international Christian news outlet.

“As CDI approaches its second anniversary, we’re delighted to have received recognition for the second year in a row from the Evangelical Press Association,” said Gordon Showell-Rogers, International Director of Christian Daily International. “We’re grateful for insightful suggestions from the judges and for their comments about CDI being a place to see what God is doing in the global Church.”

“One of our goals is to create a sense of belonging and connection to Christians around the world. This EPA recognition reinforces the message that we’re hearing from other sources – that CDI is succeeding in creating that sense of connectedness,” he added. “In our short life, we’re delighted to have acquired a reputation for quality, relevance and accuracy, and to see CDI being increasingly quoted by other news media as a result.”

The Evangelical Press Association, based in the United States, is one of the world’s leading professional organizations serving the evangelical periodical publishing industry. It represents a broad spectrum of Christian magazines, newspapers, newsletters, and digital publications. Its annual Best in Class awards celebrate excellence in Christian journalism across editorial, visual, and digital disciplines.

Launched in 2023, Christian Daily International and its Spanish edition Diario Cristiano provide biblical, factual and personal news, stories and perspectives from every region, focusing on religious freedom, integrated gospel and other issues that are relevant to the global Church today.
