TeKnowledge, a global leader in technology services, has introduced its AI-First Expert Technology Services at the Nigeria CxO Summit 2025 in Lagos, reinforcing its commitment to accelerating digital transformation in the country through artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
The summit held recently, marking TeKnowledge’s seven years of operations in Nigeria, brought together leaders across sectors to discuss the future of technology-driven growth.
Designed specifically for African enterprises, the new service offering integrates AI, cybersecurity, and customer experience solutions to foster innovation across key sectors, including fintech, healthcare, and agriculture.
Since establishing its Nigerian operations in 2018, TeKnowledge has rapidly grown, making its Lagos base the company’s largest global hub.
The company now employs 200 people and serves clients in over 90 countries.
TeKnowledge’s Security Operations Centre in Lagos, powered by AI for real-time threat detection and response, underscores Nigeria’s pivotal role in the company’s strategy.
CEO Aileen Allkins outlined ambitious workforce expansion targets, aiming to grow from 200 to 4,000, then 6,000, and ultimately 8,000 professionals, addressing Africa’s tech talent shortage while supporting digital transformation.
“In 2018, we started this operation in Nigeria, initially with 200 people, and they were doing Azure technical support, supporting Microsoft global customers from here… nobody else was setting up an operation with the vision to become the size that we are today.”
The summit, which gathered industry leaders and technology experts, marked seven years of impactful operations in Nigeria and explored the next phase of technology-driven growth in Africa.
The Chief Revenue and Transformation Officer, Nidal Abou-Ltaif, emphasised the importance of aligning with Nigeria’s National AI Strategy, which advocates for inclusive, sustainable AI progress.
He noted that business leaders in Nigeria are increasingly adopting AI to drive digital transformation.
“From the ancient trade networks of Kano to the fintech revolution and Nollywood’s global rise, progress here has always been driven by purpose. Today, Nigerian business leaders aren’t just exploring AI; they’re acting on it with urgency, focus, and vision.”
