Ejovi Aror, the Group Managing Director of ipNX Nigeria, an Information and communications technology (ICT) company, has emphasised the critical role of government’s support and progressive policy direction in driving the ICT sector’s success.
Aror said that government’s support and future-forward policies are essential to unlocking the full potential of Nigeria’s digital economy.
He made these comments during a courtesy visit to Bosun Tijani, the Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, at the Ministry’s headquarters in Abuja.
The visit is said to be a significant step towards advancing Nigeria’s transformation agenda in technology, an executive delegation from ipNX Nigeria Limited,
The meeting focused on fostering collaboration between the public and private sectors to accelerate the achievement of the National Broadband Plan, particularly through the National Broadband Alliance for Nigeria.
Discussions also extended to cover policy frameworks and partnerships to deepen broadband penetration across Nigeria, ensuring inclusive and sustainable digital growth.
Speaking about the engagement, Ejovi Aror, the Group Managing Director of ipNX Nigeria, he said, “We are excited about the Ministry’s proactive efforts to make the National Broadband Plan a reality. Government support and future-forward policies are essential to unlocking the full potential of Nigeria’s digital economy. At ipNX, we are committed to collaborating with the Ministry and other stakeholders to expand broadband access, enhance connectivity in educational institutions, and ultimately bridge the digital divide.
“This collaboration will not only empower millions of Nigerians but also position the country as a leader in Africa’s technological revolution,” he stated.
Olusola Teniola, Director of Strategic Initiatives at ipNX Nigeria, and former National Coordinator of the Alliance for Affordable Internet (A4AI), emphasised the importance of internet and broadband connectivity for Nigeria’s development:

For a country like Nigeria, where technology has the potential to transform lives and drive sustainable growth, expanding broadband access is not just a luxury, but a necessity.
