Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Semmelweis Pannonia In Excellence Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be foreign nationals holding student status at Semmelweis University.
- Have started their studies between the first semester of 2024/2025 and September 2027.
- Be enrolled in an English or German-taught program at one of the eligible faculties.
- Have completed at least two active semesters with outstanding academic performance and/or significant achievements in sports or the arts.
- Maintain an active student status throughout the scholarship period.
- Not be recipients of the Stipendium Hungaricum or Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship.

Scholarship Benefits
This scholarship is awarded for one academic year and is paid in 12 equal monthly installments. The amount varies by faculty:
- Faculty of Medicine: HUF 2,000,000 per academic year per student
- Faculty of Dentistry: HUF 2,000,000 per academic year per student
- Faculty of Pharmacy: HUF 1,300,000 per academic year per student
- Faculty of Health Sciences: HUF 900,000 per academic year per student
- András Pető Faculty: HUF 2,900,000 per academic year per student
Important Notes
- Scholarship payments will stop if the recipient’s student status becomes inactive.
- Recipients may have to repay the scholarship if they fail to meet contractual obligations, provide false information, or terminate their studies.
- Appeals can be submitted within 5 business days of a rejection decision.
