Lagos-based Roperb Dental Clinic has introduced a new cutting-edge technology designed to advance dental solutions.

The initiative known as SmileTech Dental Innovations was unveiled during the clinic’s 5th-anniversary celebration, where the management outlined its achievements, challenges, and plans, including an ambitious goal to treat at least 10,000 patients in 2025.

The Chairman of Roperb Clinic, Bukola Oparemi, reflected on the clinic’s growth since its inception in 2020. “Barely a month into our operations, the world was hit by the COVID-19 pandemic; a crisis that shook even the most established businesses to their core,” he said. However, he emphasised that the clinic adapted to the situation through innovation and strengthened safety measures, ensuring continued patient trust and service delivery.

Operemi noted that the firm has expanded from a single dental suite in Surulere to a modern facility with two dental suites and an additional branch in Lekki.

According to him, the clinic’s commitment to continuous improvement and patient satisfaction has enabled successful treatment of over 5,000 patients, while setting its sights on doubling that number by 2025.

The chairman also revealed that the clinic has invested in state-of-the-art equipment, including the Alliedstar AS260 intraoral scanner and other digital tools, to enhance the precision and efficiency of dental treatments. “We are dedicated to leveraging technology to improve dental care in Nigeria,” he stated.

Additionally, Oparemi announced that Roperb Dental Clinic is now registered with nearly all Health Maintenance Organisations (HMOs) having about 30 national HMOs and 10 international ones and this move according to him, is expected to enhance accessibility to quality dental care for a broader segment of the population.

Commending the dedication of the Roperb team, Oparemi acknowledged that the clinic’s journey has been marked by challenges, but each obstacle has served as a stepping stone to greater achievements. “We are excited about the future, and with this new technology and our expanding reach, we are committed to making quality dental care more accessible,” he added.

Commending the Roperb team for their resilience, Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Lagos State Governor on Health, Dr Toni Adeyemi, pledged the Lagos State government’s support for the private sector. “The government is happy when we see young entrepreneurs complementing what the government does because we cannot do it alone. We look forward to partnering with private entities like Roperb,” she said.
