“And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.” (John 14:16-18)
Jesus promised that we would never be alone. In today’s verse, He spoke of the Holy Spirit, our divine advocate, who would be with us forever. Just as a lawyer pleads a case, the Holy Spirit intercedes for us on earth, and Jesus, our risen Savior, advocates for us in heaven (1 John 2:1). When you feel weak or unheard, remember—you have an advocate who speaks for you, defends you, and guides you. Lean into His presence, and walk boldly, knowing you are never abandoned.
