A parish of the Christ Apostolic Church in Ibadan, Oyo State, was on Friday night, gutted by fire.
Radio Nigeria correspondent who visited the church at Wisdom Estate, Road 1G, Akobo/Olohunda Road, Lagelu Local Government Area reports that the incident occurred around 9:30pm during a vigil and razed the church.
According to Chairman of Wisdom Estate, Mr Nurudeen Lamidi “The incident happened in the night around 9:30pm when they were having vigil”.
He said the cause of the fire incident could not be ascertained.
Men of Oyo State Fire Services, later arrived the scene of the fire.
