In commemoration of May Day, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State, has charged Nigerian workers to adapt as the world of work evolves driven by technology, automation and artificial intelligence.
In his message on the celebration on Thursday, Governor Abdulrazaq extended warm greetings to men and women of both the public and private sectors whose efforts power the state economy and shape the future of society.
According to him, “change is at the heart of our various initiatives, innovation Hub, Visual Arts Center and ICT centres among others.
“It is crucial that we embrace change, promote excellence and prepare ourselves not just for the jobs of today, but for the opportunities of tomorrow,” he stated.
The governor also further asserted that through targeted infrastructural and socioeconomic initiatives, his administration has maintained financial stability, ensured timely salary payments, supported entrepreneurship, and provided social safety nets for Kwara people.
“I reaffirm our administration’s commitment to building a Kwara where workers thrive, where decent jobs are created, where careers are continually nurtured, and where every sector is empowered to contribute meaningfully to the state’s prosperity.
“We are determined to implement policies that strengthen our civil service, grow the economy, attract investments, and expand job opportunities.”
Governor Abdulrazaq assured of his government’s commitment to responsible governance and sustainable development in Kwara state.
